From the frontlines to finish lines, Ketone-IQ fuels physical and cognitive endurance. We’re not just building a brand; we’re leading the global ketone movement and reshaping the energy category.

In 2019, the U.S. Department of Defense SOCOM awarded us a $6M contract to pioneer next-generation ketone fuels, marking the start of our mission to democratize elite energy.

Ketone-IQ is High-Performance Energy.

We’re scaling fast, innovating faster, and unlocking new frontiers in nutrition, biotech, and human performance. We’re changing the way people fuel and rapidly expanding as we lead the ketone movement.

We’re hiring a Product Manager, Ingredient Platforms: a highly technical operator and strategic builder who will own and grow our ingredient platforms. Reporting to the VP of Product, you’ll lead all things Emerging Ingredients: driving global supply, regulatory readiness, and new growth through technology and partnerships. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the intersection of science, supply, and strategy.

Who you are:

  • You thrive in complexity: the kind that blends biotech, global operations and regulatory, and commercialization.
  • You’re equal parts strategist and builder, able to take programs from 0→10 and hand them off clean.
  • You have a bias for clarity, action, and building scalable systems that last.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supplier & Technology Partnerships
    • Identify, manage and develop strategic relationships with key global partners to secure and diversify ingredient supply.
    • Structure agreements and co-develop scalable, compliant solutions that align with company goals.
  • Regulatory & Quality Acceleration
    • Partner with Regulatory and Quality to execute global filings (GRAS, EFSA, Novel Food) and ensure ingredient compliance and documentation accuracy.
    • Act as the bridge between internal science teams and external regulators to accelerate commercial readiness.
  • Operational Execution & Scale-Up
    • Stand up and qualify key technical operations — from lab to pilot through scale-up — in partnership with Quality and Supply Chain.
    • Evaluate existing partner engineering stacks and collaborate on commissioned changes or upgrades needed.
    • Translate R&D outputs into GMP-ready, food-grade production through disciplined planning and execution.
  • Cross-Functional Product Leadership
    • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Business Development to align technical execution with commercial strategy.
    • Optimize product positioning, pricing, and supply chain economics for both internal and external ingredient sales.
  • Strategy & Market Expansion
    • Define and execute the roadmap for ingredient commercialization, GTM, and portfolio growth.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify white-space opportunities and next-generation ingredient directions.
  • Risk, IP & Compliance Management
    • Design redundancy into our supply and GTM ecosystems, and uphold global quality and safety standards.
    • Collaborate with legal to design and manage robust, defensible IP frameworks.
    • Manage documentation, audit readiness, and cross-border regulatory nuances proactively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7–10 years in product, supplier, engineering, or program management within biotech, specialty chemicals, or functional ingredients.
  • Deep technical fluency in bioprocessing, purification, and scale-up operations; comfortable interfacing with engineers, scientists, and manufacturing teams.
  • Strong understanding of global food and nutrition regulatory frameworks (e.g. FDA, GRAS, Novel Food, EFSA, NDI, IND) and hands-on experience navigating documentation, compliance, and application workflows.
  • Proven ability to identify, structure, and build supplier and technology partnerships, from technical diligence through contract execution through commercial readiness.
  • Experience with IP portfolio development, technology licensing, and proprietary process management.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills — able to lead with authority, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively across fully-remote technical and commercial teams.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • You’ll shape core technology platforms that underpin Ketone-IQ’s next stages of growth.
  • You’ll work at the intersection of science, operations, and commercialization.
  • You’ll have real ownership, from identifying the right tech partners to seeing your systems stand up, scale, and sell.
  • You’ll operate in a high-autonomy environment with world-class teammates pushing the boundaries of metabolic innovation - shaping the future of energy from molecule to market.
