Who you are:
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Field Sales Representative to support sales and brand execution across retail store locations. This role is responsible for visiting assigned stores, driving sales performance, ensuring product visibility, and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and staff. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can balance sales, merchandising, and customer service while representing the company with professionalism.
Job Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail stores on a scheduled basis to build relationships and maximize sales.
- Ensure products are properly stocked, displayed, and merchandised according to brand standards.
- Execute in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.
- Train store associates on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and promotional strategies in stores.
- Identify opportunities for increased shelf space, endcaps, and point-of-sale (POS) displays.
- Track inventory levels, report out-of-stock issues, and coordinate replenishment needs.
- Provide regular feedback and field reports to sales management, including photos and data.
- Support retail staff in resolving customer inquiries related to products.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, territory goals, and performance metrics.
Work Expectations:
- Hybrid schedule with 90% of time in the field (distributed throughout the day).
- Approximately 10% home office support; the remainder includes planning, outreach, and follow-ups.
What You’ll Do:
- Field hustle: walking into accounts, upselling managers and buyers, and building long-term partnerships that fuel growth.
- Distributor ride alongs to open new accounts and upsell in current accounts
- Track and report your daily wins and information from the field
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in field sales, retail merchandising, or territory account management preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with retail partners.
- Comfortable with frequent travel between store locations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to assess merchandising execution.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile reporting tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Background in consumer goods, retail, or brand merchandising.
- Ability to analyze sales data and provide insights for store-level growth.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple store visits and priorities.
- Local to SoCal is required
