What you will do

We are looking for a high-performing sales professional with a proven track record of growing sales in the convenience channel. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Strategy, your primary responsibility you will be to cultivate and further relationships with regional and national chain buyers, including, but not limited to: Circle K, AM/PM, 7-Eleven, Wawa, Casey’s, Sheetz. You will leverage your experience and connections to drive immediate impact in opening new accounts and setting them up for success. This role is an incredible opportunity to take the top performing energy shot in the natural channel into c-store.

You have incredible relationships with corporate chain buyers and executives, experience selling and maintaining shelf space at front end, and you have all the right relationships with distributors necessary to meet and exceed your sales goals. You love a challenge and the opportunity to build out a business. You’re exceptional at managing accounts to make them successful. You know the ins and outs of the Convenience channel better than anyone in the business.

Responsibilities

  • Open new national and key regional accounts to deliver growth against Company sales and business targets
  • Build winning relationships with the buyers, brokers, and distributor team to ensure top-notch execution and continued growth
  • Directly manage key accounts and distributors, identify opportunities and execute against them across product placement, merchandising solutions, and promotional effectiveness
  • Execute promotional plans that drive positive gains and ROI
  • Leverage sales data and market trends to inform strategy and identify opportunities for optimization and growth
  • Offer strategic insights and direction for the development of assigned retail channels, customer/distributors, and sales strategies
  • Represent Ketone-IQ at retail meetings, trade events, broker meetings, and industry conferences

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ progressive experience working in sales and account management in the convenience channel, experience in energy shots or selling to front end strongly preferred
  • Strong existing relationships with major corporate convenience stores
  • Experience from a high-growth CPG company, preferably beverage/shots
  • Experience managing distributors — Core-Mark, McLane, DOT
  • Substantial experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.)
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and leveraging sales data to drive narratives and strategic decision making
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across audiences and thrive in asynchronous environments
  • Collaborative team player who fosters a positive work environment and takes ownership to drive collective success
  • Proven sales leader with the ability to mentor, train, and inspire others to achieve and exceed revenue targets
